Esher College is pleased to report a 98.6% pass rate at A level (78% A* - C grades). The AS level pass rate is equally impressive at 91.4% (65.9% A - C grades).  All of the College´s results were above national benchmarks. In particular, the proportion of students achieving the highest grades shows an increase on last year, which runs counter to the trend nationally.

An impressive 80 students achieved three or more A Levels at A* or A grade, including fourteen students who achieved 3 or 4 A* grades; a remarkable achievement.  The College is also extremely proud to report that a total of 301 A* grades were awarded at A Level.

Thomas Burridge, who achieved four A* grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, said, '"I was really excited when I saw my results and I'm really happy with all of the support Esher College has given me." Thomas is off to Trinity College, Cambridge to study Engineering. Kerry Alderson, who gained three A* grades in English Literature, History and Maths, said, "I am still in shock over my grades! I am really excited to be starting at Durham University in October and I want to thank everyone for their help." Kerry, who also achieved an A* in her Extended Project Qualification, will be studying Theology.

Sebastian Gilbert gained two A grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and a B grade in Physics. Sebastian said, ""I was so excited when I saw my results and I'm really grateful to all of the teaching staff at Esher College." Sebastian also achieved an A* in his Extended Project Qualification and is off to Manchester University to study Maths. Imogen Daldy gained three A* grades in English Literature, French and History and is off to Nottingham University to study French and History. Imogen said, "I couldn't believe it when I got my results. I was really happy! Thanks to all of my teachers at Esher, I couldn't have done it without them." Like Sebastian, Imogen achieved A* in her Extended Project Qualification.

Dan Dean, the College Principal, said, "We are delighted that our 2015 results demonstrate that Esher College students continue to achieve at the highest level. With well over 2000 entries at A level, it is testimony to the hard work of our students and teachers that more than half of these were at A*-B, the highest possible grades. Our BTEC results are also exceptional. Performance at this level clearly opens doors for the future and we wish all our leavers success as they head off to university or employment."
