Parent Tutor Evening is an opportunity for 6.1 parents to meet your student’s personal tutor, who will play an active role in their progress and welfare throughout their time at college.

There are two Parent Tutor Evenings in the first term, on Tuesday 22 September 2026 and Tuesday 29 September 2026, beginning at 5.00pm.

Invitations will be emailed to all 6.1 parents by Monday 14 September. Dates cannot be switched, as your student’s tutor will attend only on the date specified in your invitation.

The evening will begin with a welcome talk from the Principal followed by talks from senior staff offering practical guidance on how you can support your student’s transition to College.

Please note that this is an information evening rather than a parents’ evening providing an update on your student’s academic progress. Progress evenings will take place later in the academic year.

At the end of the evening, there will be an optional talk for parents and carers who would like to learn more about the College’s approach to supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
