The Charlie O'Donoghue Award

​This award is in memory of Charlie O'Donoghue, an Esher College student who tragically died in 2003, and is awarded annually for outstanding sporting achievements and behaviour. This year's winner, Abi Gomez, has displayed all the qualities associated with this sports personality of the year award.

World Book Night

​​The Learning Resource Centre celebrated World Book Night on Friday 21st April by holding a free book giveaway. Students were able to pick up their free copy of Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley from Librarian and LRC Manager, Jo Canessa.

Higher Education Day 2017

​​We were delighted to welcome 93 universities to the College for our annual Higher Education Day on Tuesday 21st March. In the morning, 6.1 students attended over 65 seminars led by academics from local universities, offering advice on what it is like to study particular degree courses at university.

2017 Green Week

​Last week was 'Green Week' at Esher College and various activities took place around the College to raise awareness of environmental issues and sustainability. Throughout the week each day had a different focus and students were encouraged to get involved

British College Netball Cup

​Congratulations to the netball 1st team for making it to the Quarter Final of the British Colleges netball cup against Exeter College (away). Sadly we lost but the team played well and showed great team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the match. The photo above shows the Esher College team with the Exeter team.

Higher Sports Leaders

​In the past week, twelve Esher College Higher Sports Leader students have helped run two Surrey Active Sports Hall Athletic events for local primary and secondary schools. The students were, once again, an asset to Esher College, showing excellent leadership on the two busy days.
