ALPS Certificate of Outstanding Progress

​We are celebrating the award of a Certificate of Outstanding Progress for exceptional value-added performance over the last 3 years by ALPS, an independent national assessor. This shows that our A level students progress beyond expectation and are in the top 15% nationally. In fact, our 2018 ALPS grade was even more impressive, putting our students in the top 10% in the country.

Author visit from Michael Donkor

​Last week Esher College Students and Staff were treated to a blast from the past when former English teacher Michael Donkor returned to give us a reading of his new coming-of-age novel Hold.​​

2019 Oxbridge Students

​​We are very pleased to announce that ten students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities for this coming September. As part of the Oxbridge Programme, the College offers students regular sessions helping students with writing personal statements, interview techniques and preparing for interviews.

Christmas Party

​​On Wednesday 12th December, BTEC Health and Social Care students had the pleasure of hosting their annual Christmas party. Guests were invited from the Teapot Club and we also had a few special guests, including parents of Esher College staff.

Former Music Students' Band Success

​On 5th December, we had the pleasure of a visit from former Music students, Alex Cook, Will Nicola Thompson and Daniel Bath, who have been enjoying growing success with their band, Rose Dive. They have completed a UK tour this year, visiting venues across the country in Southampton, Bristol and Norwich to name a few, and supporting bands such as 'Blossoms'

Tutor Group Charity Event

​During the autumn term all of our 6.1 tutor groups organise an event to raise money for charity. This year the tutor groups raised over £3,000 for various charities, including our College charity, the Esher College Africa Trust (ECAT).
