Esher College held the 14th annual Health Fair on Tuesday 24th January for their 16-18 year old students. Congratulations to the first year BTEC Health and Social Care students who worked creatively towards producing a successful and lively event. The students worked in pairs or in groups, planning health campaigns on Sexual Health Awareness, Alcohol Awareness, Drug Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, Domestic Abuse Awareness, Smoking Cessation and Healthy Eating.

The success of the Health Fair was achieved with the support from a range of agencies. They were School Nurses from Central Surrey Health, Independent Catering, Surrey Chlamydia Testing Team, and ‘I Need Help’ student mentors who brought their expertise and skill to the event. Annie Teoh Williams, Head of Health and Social Care, said "This was another successful Health Fair. The students, in their role as Peer Health Educators, have worked very hard in their planning to think creatively on how they can deliver their health messages to their peers".
