Esher Oscars 2026
Students came together to support each other in their nominations and wins, and enjoyed the opportunity to dress up, take photos and say goodbye to their time at Esher.
The Oscars has been a prized event at Esher Sixth Form College for over twenty years, and this year was no exception. This slick event, showcasing some of the most imaginative, technically proficient and thought provoking 6.2 student work was put together by the Media and Film, and Photography teams.
Lee Bone, Head of Media and Film Studies, said that the quality of work on display this year was phenomenal.
“It’s so nice to get to the end of year, see the quality of work on display, and to realise how much our students have developed during their time with us. We’re all really proud of what they’ve achieved and we hope they are too.”
Becky Voller, Divisional Director Creative Arts & Recreation, thanked the staff on an amazing job organising the event.
“Fletcher Page and Amy Cooper, former students themselves and now our invaluable Media and Film, and Photography technicians respectively, did a sterling job in organising logistics and presenting the work in a professional, engaging way for the big screen. A huge thank you to all involved, and not least our creative students who really did themselves proud.”
