W2e TuesdayWhat is the Student Ambassador Programme?

Student Ambassadors play a vital role in showcasing Esher Sixth Form College, engaging with prospective students and their parents.

All Student Ambassadors undergo a recruitment process and receive a training workshop at the start of their tenure. This workshop helps develop key personal skills, including confidence, communication, body language, and public speaking.

All students are invited to apply towards the end of their first year at Esher.

Why become an ambassador?

Becoming a Student Ambassador at Esher is a rewarding experience that provides invaluable skills and opportunities that you will use for the rest of your life.

Our ambassadors tell us that these are the main reasons they apply:

  • To build confidence & personal skills – Gain experience in speaking and engaging with different audiences.
  • Receive training– Learn skills that will benefit future career opportunities.
  • Make friends and expand their network – Connect with like-minded peers across different subjects.
  • Enhance the College experience – Get involved and contribute to the College community.
  • A boost for their UCAS Personal Statement – Stand out in university applications with valuable extracurricular experience.
  • For future employment opportunities – Many universities offer paid Student Ambassador roles, and experience at Esher puts you in a strong position to be hired.
