On Wednesday 25th March the Esher College men’s 1st XI beat Strode’s College 3-2 in an entertaining match played at a sunny LSE sports ground. Esher dominated the early exchanges and stormed into a 3-0 first half lead with goals from Alex Buenfeld, Rory Brown and Joe Darby. Credit to Strode’s who clawed two goals back early in the second half but Esher held onto a deserved victory after having to play the last twenty minutes with 10 men after Stan Kearney’s dismissal. Pictured here are the victorious squad with captain Oliver Davis holding the trophy. A fantastic day for ‘Sport Esher’ and congratulations to all students involved.
