We are delighted to announce that following a competitive interview process, Dan Hards has been appointed Principal of Esher Sixth Form College. Dan Hards will assume his new role from 30 August 2022, and in the meantime, he will be working closely with Dan Dean, who has decided to step down after 12 years in the role.

Dan Hards is currently Assistant Principal (Student Services) at the College and has been part of the Senior Leadership Team for the past five years. After having worked at Esher for 19 years, he has a thorough understanding of how the College operates.

Dan says, “Young people deserve the opportunity to access an outstanding post-16 education and my desire is to provide all students, whatever their background, access to a study programme that enables them to fulfil both their personal and academic potential. My passion for post-16 education, and Esher Sixth Form College, has been further deepened by the challenges posed by the pandemic, and stepping-up to take on the role of Principal enables me to further fulfil the strong sense of duty I have for the College and its community."
