In the past week, twelve Esher College Higher Sports Leader students have helped run two Surrey Active Sports Hall Athletic events for local primary and secondary schools. The students were, once again, an asset to Esher College, showing excellent leadership on the two busy days. Both days required students to be at College for 7am, which they did without complaint. At the event the students showed great enthusiasm, helping to run and organise a number of events.

The Higher Sports Leader second year enrichment course allows the students the opportunity to put their leadership, organisational, motivational and communication skills into practice. As part of the course students complete 30 hours of volunteering in the sports community, including both disability and elderly sport.
