Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Duke of Edinburgh group had another extremely successful trip to Nepal this summer. The two-week trip to the other side of the world involved several days trekking throughout the Annapurna mountains, as well as time spent exploring Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu, and it’s second city, Pokhara. In total 40 students made the trip a rip-roaring success and all successfully completed the expedition component of their gold Duke of Edinburgh award.
Our latest intake of 1st year students has seen more Duke of Edinburgh interest than ever before and they will be leaving for their Nepal trip in summer 2020.
