“My teachers are always encouraging me to be the best I can be.”
There is always a good, lively environment
when walking around Esher Sixth Form College.
Everyone is really friendly. My teachers are
always encouraging me to be the best I can be
and the facilities are great. I couldn’t ask more
for more.
My courses: The Maths department runs a
regular Maths clinic where I can get help if I
don’t understand the homework or a topic we’ve
previously covered. All my subjects have clinics
in case you need the extra help and even though
the college is larger than a school sixth form, you
never feel like a teacher is too busy to help you.
Best bits: I’ve enjoyed taking part in the
Chemistry Cambridge Challenge and Chemistry
Olympiad, which have pushed my learning
further. The Chemistry in Action trip in my
first year was another highlight. It boosted my
interest in this subject because we could hear
from experts in the industry talk about all the
different areas chemistry can take you.
After Esher, I want to study chemistry at the
University of Birmingham.
