“Esher has fantastic creative facilities and resources that I was particularly interested in. Being able to choose from a huge range of courses was exciting and I was ready for a fresh start.”
What I have learnt quickly since starting College is how to become responsible for my time and to use it effectively. My study programme is a combination of A Levels with a lot of reading and writing and coursework-based creative subjects. I have learnt to manage my time and private study periods, so I can get everything done. I tend to study at home for Psychology and jump on the train when I need to be at college. For Fashion and Art & Design, I do my work within those classrooms. Students are welcome at any time to use these spaces.
I like the mutually respectful relationship you have with your teachers at college. They are very supportive and their support is specific to what you need and where you want to go next after Esher.
I feel more relaxed since I started at Esher. I am in more control of what I want to study and when. Advice I would give new students is to choose subjects that you love or have a keen interest in.
