Certificates will be issued by the exam boards in November 2022 and sent to your home address, as appears on the college database, by Recorded Delivery early January 2023.  If your address changes, please notify MIShelpdesk@esher.ac.uk as soon as possible to ensure your certificates will be delivered to the correct address.

Support

If students have specific queries about their progression or UCAS/Apprenticeship/Art Foundation/Employment applications, one to one support is available on Thursday 18th August (8.30am to 3.00pm) and Friday 19th August (9.00am to 3.00pm) where Progression Guidance staff will be available to provide guidance in LRC1. If you are unable to come into College or your enquiry is after Friday 19th August, please email progression@esher.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we are able to. Divisional Directors will be available to respond to any subject/progression enquiries and provide support in LRC1 Thursday 18th August (8.30am to 3.00pm).

Due to ensuring that the students who need support can access it, please only come to College if your support need is urgent and you have missed out on the conditions of your university or higher education firm offer.

Post Results Services

Post Results Services requests should be made and paid for via the student portal, using the tabs Exams/Services, and are not available via email or over the telephone. There are charges for all services and strict deadline dates, some very soon after the publication of results. When requesting a review of results students are confirming they understand results can stay the same, go up or go down therefore a request can only be made by the student themselves. A useful information sheet explaining all services, costs, deadline dates, and the circumstances in which they should be used, together with important guidance, can be found below:

If you have a query about results or you need anything explained then please contact the Exam Office via postresults@esher.ac.uk. Providing a student’s personal email address is essential for any future communications with the College.

AS and A Levels are reported from the exam boards by grade only. BTECS are graded as Pass, Merit, Distinction, Distinction*, and GCSEs by grades 9-1. Please be aware that coursework or non-examined assessment (NEA), work that is marked internally and then moderated by an exam board, are not included in Post Results Services. This includes the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification ). If an exam board changes marks through the moderation process, the college is able to appeal that change by requesting re-moderation, however that would be for a whole cohort not an individual candidate. An appeal would be a college decision.

Please be aware that there is a deadline for all services.

Second-year leavers are strongly advised to print or save a copy of their results immediately when they are received as they will only be able to access the College Portal until the end of September. Students will need to present their results when enrolling at university, further education college, or when starting a new job so a printed copy is essential as certificates will not be despatched by exam boards until late autumn. If any leaver changes their address between their summer exams and mid-November, please notify the college of their new address so certificates can be posted correctly. These will be dispatched Recorded Delivery in January 2023. For those students who leave before the end of the academic year and no longer have access to the portal, arrangements are made to post results, first class, to the latest address held on the college database.
