Students Shine in Physics Olympiad
The British Physics Olympiad Senior Physics Challenge, an annual national competition for Year 12 Physics students, saw outstanding participation from Esher Sixth Form College this year.
A total of 17 students entered the prestigious competition, with every participant earning a medal award. The results are as follows: 1 Gold, 7 Silver, and 9 Bronze.
Securing a Gold award is an exceptional achievement, as it is reserved for the top 7% of entries. This year, the honour went to Ozzy Hayler-Goodall, who demonstrated remarkable understanding and proficiency in physics.
Additionally, Sonny Aldis and Thomas Cheatle distinguished themselves by achieving very high Silver marks, reflecting their dedication and talent in the subject.
These results highlight the hard work and commitment of our students and the excellent standard of teaching at Esher Sixth Form College.
Congratulations to all our winners for their impressive achievements!
