“Choosing Courses that I was interested in was the best advice as not only am I really enjoying them, but they are opening up new opportunities and quickly helping shape my future career direction.”
I was ready to move on from secondary school and have the freedom to study the subjects that interested me. Taster Day was excellent and confirmed my choice to come to Esher. I really enjoyed meeting the teachers and sampling lessons.
Having more control of my time has been a standout since starting College. This is obviously a difference to secondary school. I have found the transition from school smooth as there is lots of support in place. All my teachers have been brilliant in helping me settle into college life and I have made a lot of new friends.
A highlight of my week is going to my Extension Study course Model United Nations (MUN) on a Monday. There is always a big debate around the classroom as we delve into timely issues and represent different countries interests. It’s fascinating seeing everyone’s perspectives. I am really looking forward to the London YouthMUN Conference in March.
