In October a group of 12 French students met with their teachers at 6am at St Pancras International to take a very early Eurostar to Paris. Over the 3 packed days they saw the Eiffel Tower, took a bateau mouche down the Seine, climbed the Arc Du Triomphe at sunset, had a walking tour of street art, a lesson in making chocolate (both in French!), saw sites used in filming ‘Intouchables’, tried genuine crepes and strolled around Montmartre and finally visited the Louvre. The weather was unseasonably sunny and students were able to practise speaking, reading and listening to actual French while experiencing life in the French capital.
