Construction Begins on New Classrooms and Facilities
Students and staff returned to campus to find construction underway at the front of the College, marking the start of an exciting new building project set for completion by summer 2025.
The development will introduce four modern classrooms, including computer labs on the first floor and versatile, multi-purpose rooms on the ground floor. The project also includes new staff, student, and accessible toilet facilities, along with much-needed additional office space and a dedicated meeting room. A revamped student entrance is also part of the improvements.
Principal Dan Hards said, “The new classroom block will provide yet more modern facilities and benefit the whole College community.”
To minimise disruption to nearby classrooms in the B block, soundproofing measures have been implemented, and protective hoarding has been installed around the construction site and along the Student Entrance. A carefully managed construction schedule is in place to reduce noise and disturbance for both staff and students throughout the project.
