Esher Chemistry Students Among Top 8% Nationally
A huge congratulations to our talented 6.2 Chemistry A Level students who shone in the prestigious UK Chemistry Olympiad Round 1 Competition.
We are proud to announce that six of our students achieved the coveted Gold Award — a distinction reserved for the top 8% of participants across the country. This year’s gold medallists are:

The UK Chemistry Olympiad is widely recognised as one of the most challenging science competitions for sixth form students, testing advanced problem-solving skills, theoretical understanding, and scientific creativity.
Seema Madan, Head of Chemistry, praised the students: “Their outstanding success is a testament to their hard work, intellectual curiosity, and the supportive learning environment fostered by our science department. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.”
