Chemistry Students Experience Science in Action

6.1 Chemistry A Level students stepped beyond the classroom to take part in the Chemistry in Action event in London, an experience designed to bring the subject to life.

The students heard from leading scientists and industry experts, gaining insight into how chemistry drives innovation across medicine, environmental science and advanced materials. A programme of live demonstrations, interactive discussions and real-world case studies helped translate complex theories into practical applications.

The event highlighted the relevance of chemistry in tackling global challenges and showcased the wide range of careers the subject can lead to.
