Economists Take on a Snowy New York
Just days after the decade’s worst blizzard, thirty Economics A Level students embarked on an unforgettable trip to New York City.
Central Park was transformed into a winter wonderland, and the group made the most of it, taking in the breathtaking snowy scenery and enjoying a lively snowball fight.
During the trip, the group explored all of the city’s iconic landmarks, including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and Times Square. They also spent time wandering through Brooklyn and enjoyed classic New York pizza pie at a local restaurant.
Students had the unique opportunity to take guided tours of both the United Nations Headquarters and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, home to the world’s largest store of gold located deep beneath the building.
Despite the cold, the trip was bright, beautiful, and unforgettable.
