The Charlie O'Donoghue Award

This award is in memory of Charlie O'Donoghue, an Esher College student who tragically died in 2003, and is awarded annually for outstanding sporting achievements and behaviour. This year's winner, Zoe Bozzard-Hill,  has been a dedicated member of the Esher College netball team for the past two seasons. Zoe is also an excellent student academically and, as an elite swimmer, has been part of the Roll of Sporting excellence (ROSE) programme during her two years with us. Zoe is hoping to go on to study Sports Science and Mathematics at Birmingham University.  Her netball coach Vicki Corp said 'Zoe was an outstanding captain of the Esher College Netball 1st Team this season. A combination of her high level netball skills, motivation and leadership resulted in many victories for the netball team over the year both in the Surrey Sixth Form College and BCS netball leagues. Well done!'
