We were very sad to hear of the recent death of former Esher College Principal, Patrick Miller. Patrick Miller, 87 years old, was Principal from 1981 until his retirement in 1998, and established Esher College as the successful institution it has remained. A Principal of many talents with a taste for colourful bow ties, Patrick will be remembered fondly by the many students and staff he influenced at Esher Sixth Form College.

His wife Susanne sent us the following message: “Patrick has finally found peace. There will be a Covid-dictated small funeral but I intend to have a commemoration celebration in due course, if and when our world is normal again. Then I would hope lots of Esher people will come, especially the friends who knew and worked with Patrick. He had some of his happiest years at Esher College and naturally the staff made it all a success. Patrick would be pleased to see you all drink a toast to him.”
