Gatz and the Green Light

​Esher College’s show, Gatz and the Green Light, played to packed houses last week. The reinterpretation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ was set in the decadent 1920’s era of excess. Jay Gatsby’s obsession with the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan leads him on a path to destruction. Swing numbers ‘Sing Sing’, ‘and ‘Booty Swing’ immersed the audience in this alternative world.
