It is the teachers themselves who make my time at Esher so valuable. They are fun, whilst still being focused on the work, and they have really helped me to understand each topic.

Esher College has provided me with lots of great resources for my studies. There is a variety of places to work: if I want to focus, I can go to the silent study area in Learning Resource Centre 1, and if I want to work with my friends, I can go to Learning Resource Centre 2. The facilities in both LRC’s are fantastic: there are many computers available and textbooks can all be borrowed from LRC 1. I have enjoyed the extra freedom that we are given at Esher, as it has taught me to be more responsible. It is the teachers themselves who make my time at Esher so valuable. They are fun, whilst still being focused on the work, and they have really helped me to understand each topic. This allows me to complete work outside class, without needing assistance, and although I don’t usually require extra help, I appreciate the extra work the teachers put in to make themselves available for students in between lessons. The atmosphere at Esher is very friendly, and I always feel I can talk to my classmates if I have an issue with work or anything else. I usually cycle to College and Esher provides a great bike shed which always has space available; this encourages me to cycle to College rather than getting the bus. After College, I plan to go to university, though I am not sure what I want to study yet. However, Esher’s Higher Education Day has helped me realise I want to take a sport-related course.
