You are encouraged to grow as a person, develop your skills and expand your learning, in an environment that treats you as a young adult.

The main reason I chose Esher College is because of the amazing facilities that are on offer. I personally like to use the studio, in the Music department, to record compositions: a facility that I did not have access to at my previous school. As an aspiring musician, this was a big reason why I chose Esher over other colleges. The College encourages you to become more independent in your learning and the help and guidance you get from your teachers supports you through this process. The teachers are supportive and if you are struggling with a particular topic, they are always willing to arrange one-to-one help sessions. Many of the teachers, especially in the Music Department, are professionals within the industry.

My time so far at Esher has been fun and extremely enjoyable and not once did I feel uncomfortable in my transition between secondary school and college. You are encouraged to grow as a person, develop your skills and expand your learning, in an environment that treats you as a young adult.

You will also meet many people on your courses with similar goals. For example, there are many students in the music department who share a common passion and this makes it very easy to make new friends and form bands.
