The support and communication I've received from teachers has been incredibly useful; I feel a lot more confident in my subjects at A Level than I did at GCSE, and I believe being treated as mature and independent will help with the bridge into adult life
I chose to apply to Esher College after having heard endless positive feedback from past students, and also because it is one of very few establishments to offer German A Level. The College has a fantastic atmosphere and even after half a year as a student I am continuing to meet amazing new people and experience events I would otherwise never have taken part in, like the French trip to Toulouse and the German visit to the British Film Institute.
The support and communication I have received from teachers has been incredibly useful; I feel a lot more confident in my subjects at A Level than I did at GCSE, and I believe being treated as mature and independent will help massively with the bridge into adult life. I aspire to continue studying language in the future, and have been encouraged by my teachers to apply for Russell Group universities or to study abroad – options I may not have considered had I not attended Esher! Overall the community, opportunities, and my growth as a person has been so much more than I would have envisioned this time last year, and I look forward to further enriching my life and studies in the year to come!
