Introduction Day for 2019 entry (by invitation only)

Introduction Day provides you with an opportunity to visit the College and experience a taste of life at Esher. Upon arrival you will go straight to your allocated tutor groups, where your tutor for the day will give you your individual timetable. Your tutor will then explain the programme for the day and you will also have an opportunity to get to know some of the other students in your tutor group, before heading off to your first taster session.

The day is made up of two short tutor sessions and four taster sessions, each approximately 40 minutes long together with a 20-minute mid-morning break and a 40-minute lunch break. Most of you will have 3 subject taster sessions and one free choice session on your timetable. The free choice session gives you the opportunity to try out another course of your choice. We find that some students, who may be unsure about their 3rd subject, find this particularly beneficial. Those students who have opted to study 4 A Levels will not have a free choice session. At the end of the day, those of you who would like to make further changes to your study programme will have an opportunity to do so by speaking to one of our experienced staff members. The aim of Introduction Day is to ensure that you have made the right choice with your courses and to give you a sense of the supportive, friendly and welcoming learning environment.

We will be writing to you during May to invite you along to one of our two days at the end of June. We will make sure that we invite all students from the same school on the same day to avoid splitting up friendship groups.
