College Production - February 2012
Esher College’s drama department have put on an amazing sell out performance of a reinterpretation of Lewis’s Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

‘After Alice’ is set in the psychedelic 1960’s era, with an Andy Warhol Mad Hatter, a Donovan Caterpillar, The Beatles as Dormice and Mary Quant model twins Tweedledum and Tweedlee.  The story is about a teenage Alice who goes on a musical journey with an Austin Powers styled White Rabbit through an alternative world.

Cathy Hudson, Head of Theatre Studies said “We are so proud of the production.  The students have worked incredibly hard, and given up numerous evenings and week-ends to rehearse for the production. The fact that it has sold out is testament to the high standards of the performance and we are lucky to have so many talented students.”
